Axis Wake Research | Brand Launch Video Campaign
In 2009, Axis Wake Research founder and brand manager Adam McCall approached Draft (formerly JAO Productions aka “JAOPRO”) to produce a series of videos to help introduce the Axis brand to the world. We produced our first action sports independent film in 2007 entitled “Southern Style” and its potential caught the eye of McCall, who reached out to our team after its premiere. Soon, we were included on the launch plan of a highly successful brand that is now the subsidiary of the publicly traded company Malibu Boats.
Our grassroots beginning matched perfectly with that of the Axis brand throughout the video rollout. See the evolution of Axis Wake Research through the videos below:

Potentially the highlight of our relationship with Axis Wake Research and Malibu Boats was their feature sponsorship of Draft’s independent full-length feature documentary Voyage. They provided two brand new boats and offered to fuel them for the entire 1,000 mile journey…obviously a huge part of the reason our film was even able to become a reality.
